Getting started with Five Star Sitters
We match families with on-call child care providers based on experience, availability, and other criteria you specify during registration. To get started:
- Create an account
- Complete the family profile
- Select and purchase a reservation package
- Book a sitter
Once you have completed your booking, a Five Star Sitters' representative will contact you to confirm your booking and complete your request.
We do request reservations are made at least 24 hours prior to the requested date of service. However, we understand that last minute emergencies can arise and that a 24-hour notice may not be possible. However, we cannot guarantee a booking made within 12 hours of the requested date of service.
Reservation Fees
- Single Reservation - $20
- 5 Reservation Package - $75
- 10 Reservation Package - $125
- Monthly Membership - $59
Hourly Rate
The hourly rate starts at $11.oo per hour for one child and is $1.00 per hour more for each additional child. All hourly reservations require a three-hour minimum. Parents are responsible for paying the sitter directly for all hours worked.
Additional Fees
Reservations made within 12 hours of the requested date of service will be charged $10.
Please Note :
New reservation requests can only be accepted Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All reservations made outside of these times will be handled the following business day. Once a reservation has been confirmed, the reservation fee is nonrefundable.
